2027 WR making a big impression early on
Honolulu (Hawaii) Punahou 2027 receiver Zion White is making a big impression early on…
Honolulu (Hawaii) Punahou 2027 receiver Zion White didn’t make it past the first month of his freshman year before offers started coming in/
White already holds five offers at the midway point of his freshman year of high school.
“We got to San Diego for a game and Utah offered me,” said White. “It was a dream come true. I knew it was some thing special. Our older receivers took me under their wing and I learned from them. These coaches see the potential in me.
BYU, Hawaii, San Diego State, Utah and Washington State have all offered White.
In addition, he’s also hearing from Nebraska and Notre Dame, and this summer, he plans to visit Alabama and Georgia and some HBCU’s back east.
Originally from Pasadena (Calif.), White said USC was a school he grew up watching as was Michigan.
He likely would have gone to Mater Dei in Santa Ana (Calif.), where his cousin, Daryus Dixson, stars for the Monarchs.
“We’ve talked about playing together in college too so that is something to think about since he has offers from everywhere,” said White.
The 6-4, 175-pounder also plays basketball for Punahou and will run track this spring.
