On Thursday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in California to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
For the game, the Suns will be without two of their three best players, as Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have been ruled out (according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium).
Via Charania: “Suns stars Devin Booker (foot) and Bradley Beal (back) will both miss tonight’s game vs. Lakers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.”
Booker played on Tuesday evening when the Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors (on the road at the Chase Center) by a score of 108-104.
The former Kentucky star had an excellent night, putting up 32 points, six rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 37 minutes of playing time.
He is coming off a year where he averaged 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest
Meanwhile, Beal spent the first 11 seasons of his NBA career with the Washington Wizards and was traded to the Suns over the offseason.
He did not play in Tuesday’s victory over the Warriors.
