Huntington, WV – In a significant move to bolster their quarterback corps, the Marshall University Thundering Herd football program has secured the commitment of veteran quarterback Danny O’Neil from San Diego State University. The 6-foot signal-caller, who has two years of eligibility remaining, made the announcement after a thorough discussion with the Marshall football Athletics program.

In 2022, O’Neil started in five games for the Aztecs, leading the team to a 3-2 record in those contests. He threw for 1,034 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing for 104 yards.
