
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Professional motocross racer Haiden Deegan was arrested in Santa Rosa Beach on Friday for street racing and stunt driving.
According to an arrest report from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was around 75 MC Davis Boulevard when they heard tires squealing and vehicle motors revving from the Walton Sports Complex.
Deputies saw a gray sports car performing “donuts” in a lane used to drive to and from the pickleball courts at the complex. According to the WCSO, the car completed a full rotation when the deputy activated the patrol vehicle’s light and began their siren to stop the car. When the deputy approached the car, an additional rotation was completed before pulling into a parking stall.
According to the WCSO, Deegan, who was in the driver’s seat, and the passenger were detained.
