Michigan Wolverine current QB asked for termination of contract as he boldly announced a new home
The draft stock of Michigan football cornerback Will Johnson might be dropping a little bit and could be dropping even more after it was reported that he wouldn’t be able to work out at the Michigan Wolveriners Pro Day later this month.
This is according to Jordan Reid of ESPN who reported that the Michigan football standout, Johnson, will miss the Pro Day workout due to a minor hamstring injury but that he’s expected to be clear to work out for teams on April 14, which is a couple of weeks before the 2025 NFL draft.
Johnson was a stellar player for the Michigan Wolverines but dealt with injury issues in each of the past two seasons. The former five-star cornerback missed the last six games of the 2024 season for Michigan football and it appears as though some of those issues are lingering.
it might hurt the draft stock a little bit, but if Johnson falls outside the top 10, NFL teams are crazy. This dude is an elite cornerback, especially in man coverage. Johnson still needs a good workout and a solid 40 time would really boost his stock but if you need to see what he can do, turn on the film.
Johnson should be a top-10 pick, regardless of what he does during these workouts. For the record, the Michigan football corner is one of the players among the top 10 on Mel Kiper’s big board. Mason Graham and Colston Loveland are the others.
