With a top speed of 183 mph, the supercar was first purchased by Sir Rod during an Australian tour in 1977. It soon rose to prominence as a representation of 80s opulence.
The ‘Maggie May’ singer had the car sent to his Los Angeles house, where he customized it with new spoilers, a wide-body package, and a removable panel roof. As reported by Luxury Auto News, the two parted ways in 2002 after driving the rock icon back to Britain.
The Lamborghini was originally constructed with a right-hand drive, but a later owner switched it to a left-hand drive.
