Payton Thorne, the quarterback, and two defenders from Auburn football will attend SEC Media Days.
The SEC stated Monday that Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze will be accompanied by quarterback Payton Thorne, linebacker Eugene Asante, and defensive lineman Keldric Faulk, who will all be representing the Tigers during the 2024 SEC Media Days in Dallas the next week.
Meanwhile, Asante and Faulk were both standouts on the defensive side of the football last fall and frequently come up in conversations about the team’s leadership and culture council.
SEC Media Days will run from July 15 to July 18 at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Dallas, which becomes the fourth city to ever host the event. Last year, the event was held in Nashville for the first time after it being hosted at Atlanta and Birmingham in the years prior.

Meanwhile, inventory remains for Auburn’s games against Alabama A&M (Aug. 31), Cal (Sept. 7), Arkansas (Sept. 21), Vanderbilt (Nov. 2), Louisiana-Monroe (Nov. 16) and Texas A&M (Nov. 23).
