As the head coach of Wrexham AFC, it’s been a journey of dedication and passion for the game. The news of my departure has hit me hard, leaving me with a profound sense of betrayal and disappointment. Throughout my tenure, I poured my heart and soul into this club, striving to elevate its status and bring success to its loyal supporters.

When I first arrived at Wrexham AFC, I saw potential and opportunity. I embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, assembling a team and implementing a vision that I believed would lead us to greatness. Together, we faced triumphs and challenges, always learning and growing as a unit. The players became more than just a team; they became a family, and the club became a home.

However, coaching is not just about wins and losses; it’s about building relationships and trust. I worked tirelessly to earn the trust of the players, the staff, and the fans. We celebrated victories together and endured defeats as a collective, always striving to improve and evolve. The bond we forged seemed unbreakable, built on mutual respect and shared aspirations.

Yet, despite our efforts and achievements, my tenure at Wrexham AFC has come to an abrupt end. The manner in which this decision was made leaves me feeling betrayed and undervalued. Coaching is a profession where loyalty and commitment are paramount, and I gave my all to this club. To be let go in this manner, without proper acknowledgment of our accomplishments and without a chance to say a proper farewell, is deeply hurtful.

I understand that football is a business, and decisions are sometimes made for reasons beyond the field. However, the way in which this departure has been handled has left a bitter taste. I hoped for transparency and respect, but instead, I feel blindsided and disregarded.

Despite the pain of this moment, I am grateful for the memories and experiences I have gained at Wrexham AFC. I am proud of what we achieved together and the journey we took as a team. The passion of the fans and the dedication of the players will always hold a special place in my heart.

As I reflect on my time as head coach, I remain committed to the principles that guided me: integrity, hard work, and a love for the game. Wherever my coaching journey takes me next, I will carry these values with me.

Thank you to everyone at Wrexham AFC who supported me along the way. Though this chapter is closing sooner than expected, I am optimistic about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead.
