Preparation for the two sides has been far from easy after Gateshead were denied the opportunity to participate in the play-offs.

Over the last few days, Andy Whing’s side have thought their next match would be against: Gateshead, Barnet and Halifax at different points.

The Moors come into the tie in good form, having won four of their five games this month. However, it should be noted that three of these wins came against sides who finished in 16th place or lower in the league. Chris Millington’s side will be happy that they have avoided facing Altrincham in the quarter-finals as they are the form side heading into the playoffs.
