Captain Seamus Coleman says it is hard to walk away from something you love as he considers the offer of a new contract from Everton.
Republic of Ireland international Coleman, 35, has made a club-record 363 Premier League appearances for the Toffees since joining from Sligo Rovers for £60,000 in 2009.
The full-back has been hampered by injuries this season and has played just 12 club games, including the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
This football club means everything to me, he told Everton’s website., external I suppose I live and breathe it like everyone else.
