Morsy captained Town to a historic Premier League promotion assisting on the final matchday against Huddersfield Town.
This marked his fifth promotion, having led Chesterfield to League One in 2015, Wigan to the Championship twice in 2016 and 2018, and most recently Ipswich to the Championship from League One last season.
