Norwich City poised to let last summer’s signing head out the exit door
Norwich City are poised to cut ties with defender Danny Batth this summer, according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.
Norwich City swooped to land the centre-back last September to bolster their squad and he only penned a one-year deal with the Championship side. He has since made 19 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions, 16 of which came in the league, and he chipped in with a single goal from the back.
Batth, 33, sees his contract at Carrow Road expire at the end of next month and he is set to become a free agent once again. He will then have a big decision to make on his next move in the game.
In this latest update regarding his future in East Anglia, journalist Nixon has reported on Patreon that he will now be offered fresh terms following the end of the season and will head out the exit door.
