The Indiana Fever lost 91-80 at Barclays Center on Saturday afternoon in the second game of their home-and-home series with the New York Liberty.
After facing the Liberty twice in their opening three games, the Fever drop to 0-3. On Monday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indiana and Connecticut will replay the Fever’s season opening.
After sitting out the whole preseason due to an ankle ailment, seven-year veteran Kelsey Mitchell started the season as a starter after beginning the first two games off the bench.
The Fever found it difficult to find any offensive identity in almost any aspect of their game during the two contests.
