On Friday morning, the SEC released their softball all-conference teams, and two players from Alabama were included on the distinguished roster.

Both senior pitcher Kayla Beaver and sophomore infielder Kenleigh Cahalan received their first-ever All-SEC recognition as they were named to the second team.

Beaver, a fifth-year athlete who transferred from Central Arkansas, was previously recognized by her prior school as a first-team all-conference talent.

In 2024, she made 32 appearances for the Crimson Tide, going 8-8 with a 2.48 ERA in SEC play throughout the season. On April 8, she was named the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week.

After starting for a second straight year, Cahalan, an in-state player from Trussville, is selected for the All-SEC team. She has started every game this season, batted 23 for 80 in SEC play, and has a hit in 16 of the 24 games played in the SEC.

In the program’s history, Alabama has produced 119 All-SEC recipients, including multiple All-SEC players each year since 2017.
