After their match this weekend in the Black Country, the two clubs will play again on Friday, May 17, at St. Mary’s Stadium in the second leg.

Since joining The Hawthorns, Corberan has faced several difficult challenges. This one is likely the largest because Russell Martin’s team defeated West Brom twice and ended 12 points ahead of them in the regular Championship season.

For the Baggies to stand a chance of making it to the play-off final and vying for a Premier League position the following season, the West Brom manager needs to pick his team well for both legs.

In West Brom’s 3-0 victory over Preston North End at The Hawthorns on Saturday, May 4th (Sofascore), Alex Palmer only had to make one save, therefore the goalkeeper should be able to maintain his position in goal.

In the middle of defense, Kyle Bartley—who scored and won three of his four aerial duels against Preston—and Cedric Kipre are expected to start side by side.
