Even though Stefanos Tsitsipas has been at the top of the men’s game for a while, he has yet to win a Grand Slam championship.

He has rehired Mark Philippoussis as his coach in an attempt to elevate him while his father Apostolos takes a leave of absence from coaching.

Tsitsipas has stated that he occasionally felt uninspired and that he wants to keep trying different things in order to get better.

According to Stefanos Tsitsipas, he decided to bring Mark Philippoussis back to his coaching staff in an effort to maximise his career rather than allow it to remain stagnant.

Father Apostolos has been Tsitsipas’s coach during his professional career. Tsitsipas won his first title in over a year last week in Los Cabos.
But while Apostolos is on leave, Philippoussis is now leading the charge in guiding the No. 4 in the world.
I’ve given my father some time off right now. In advance of this week’s Canadian Open, Tsitsipas stated, He hasn’t had time off since I’m 12 years old.
I believe that he would benefit greatly from taking a break from the court to reenergize himself.
