After ankle surgery, Brentford manager Thomas Frank has stated that attacker Bryan Mbeumo would miss up to 12 weeks of activity, which includes the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 24-year-old was hurt during the Bees’ previous December 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.
After undergoing surgery, Mbeumo is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time. This would severely hurt Cameroon’s hopes as he will miss the AFCON in January.
