A day ahead of schedule, Caitlin Clark will make her preseason home debut, the Indiana Fever announced on Friday.

On May 10, Indiana was supposed to host the Atlanta Dream. The new date of the game is Thursday.

The NBA playoffs’ Eastern Conference semifinals were reached by the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks on Thursday night, following their respective Game 6 victories. This led to the scheduling clash.

Then, on May 10 at 7 p.m., league authorities announced that the two clubs would play Game 3 at Indiana, the same time and day as the Fever and Dream.

According to Fever officials, the rescheduled game will be broadcast on the WNBA app, and tickets purchased on May 10 will still be valid.

This Friday night in Dallas will be Clark’s first professional game. May 14 is Indiana’s regular season opener away against Connecticut, while May 16 is the team’s home opener against New York.

If the Pacers and Knicks play six games or more, the NBA will add an extra day of rest to make up for it. After Game 5, there are two days off before Game 6 takes place in Indianapolis on May 17.

Every other game in the series has a day off in between. If that timetable had stuck to, May 16 would have been Game 6.
