A year and a half after turning down the Packers’ contract offers to allow for a trade to the Raiders, wide receiver Davante Adams told ESPN recently that he didn’t enjoy his time in Las Vegas and implied the team didn’t have a recipe for winning the Super Bowl.
Adams expressed his unhappiness with his lack of involvement in the offense shortly after making those remarks.
Over the last three games, the perennial All-Pro has 13 receptions on 21 targets for 131 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
‘They won the game, why is there an issue?’ is probably what people are wondering. You understand why it’s a problem, after all, remarked Adams, according to ESPN.
At this point, I think you guys should be aware of who I am and what I stand for. As a mental player, my standard is brilliance rather than victories and defeats.
