Tsitsipas was born in Athens, Greece, on August 12, 1998. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 3 in August 2021.
He has won 11 ATP singles titles till date, including one Nitto ATP Finals and three Masters 1000 Monte Carlo titles.
A player to beat in any draw, Stefanos Tsitsipas won his 11th ATP title in April 2024, at the Monte Carlo Masters, where he defeated Casper Ruud in straight sets in the final.
Additionally, he has played two major finals till date, the 2021 French Open, where he lost to Novak Djokovic in five sets, and the 2023 Australian Open, losing to Djokovic again. He is currently in a relationship with Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is an all-court player whose playing style can be described as an aggressive baseliner. His forehand is considered one of the best on the tour and his favorite surface is grass. According to the ATP website, he has won over $30.3 million in prize money till date.
