Figures at West Ham still expect David Moyes to remain at the club despite pressure on his position, with players now unhappy, according to The Guardian.

The newspaper reported via its website [19 February] that there have been complaints about the cautious style of play at the London Stadium, leaving players unimpressed.

Despite pressure to improve the club’s results after the recent dip in form, with West Ham still without a win in 2024, higher-ups are still seemingly on his side.

Will David Moyes be let go by West Ham?

With some of the higher-ups at the London Stadium seemingly keen on the boss sticking around, Moyes’ future remains up in the air, but if this run of form continues they may be left with no choice.

As is the case in any managerial situation, once the players begin to get frustrated and eventually start to turn on the boss, that usually proves to be the straw which breaks the camels back in terms of their long-term future.

Frustrations surrounding the style of play are what saw plenty of fans kick off with the boss before this run of form, although many pundits questioned those frustrations due to the club’s strong league position.

However, with the Hammers on a run of eight games without a win in all competitions, and having conceded 11 goals in their last three games without scoring, that pressure has intensified.
