Houston Rockets Scores, Stats and Highlights - - ESPN (SG)

The Houston Rockets will be looking to stay in the win column in their next game against the ailing Memphis Grizzlies.

The Houston Rockets (24-29) will play in the first game of a brief two-game road trip on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies (18-36) at FedExForum. The Rockets will be looking to build off of their controversial win in their last game.

The team’s last game ended in chaos, and is currently being reviewed, as the New York Knicks have protested the game’s outcome. But as of right now, the team won its last game 105-103 as a result of a controversial foul call on a three-pointer. But all of the arguments surrounding the game should not take away from the good performances that the team had.

Dillon Brooks finished with 23 points and made six of his seven attempted three-pointers. Rookie Amen Thompson also stuffed the stat sheet despite only finishing with 8 points, as he tallied 13 rebounds and five steals. The Rockets would love to have performances like these in their next game to start a winning streak.

They will get that opportunity to do just that, as the Memphis Grizzlies are still struggling. The team has several players out with injuries, and they have lost nine straight. The Rockets will look to take advantage of that and begin to make their way back into the Western Conference’s playoff picture.

Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green (4) shoots against the Memphis Grizzlies during the fourth quarter at Toyota Center.
