Russell Martin confirms Southampton player boost ]
Southampton have been handed a welcome injury boost ahead of their Championship clash with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The Saints have had to deal with the injury enforced absence of several senior players recently.
That has arguably made the 24-game unbeaten the club are currently on, even more impressive.
However, Southampton now look as though they are going to be getting an extra option to call on as they look to continue their promotion push.
Kamaldeen Sulemana in line for return from injury
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of that match with Huddersfield Town, Russell Martin has provided an update on the fitness of his squad.
As per Daily Echo journalist Alfie House, the Southampton manager has confirmed that winger Kamaldeen Sulemana will return to the squad this weekend.
Sulemana has not played for the Saints since the 1-0 win over Bristol City on the 29th November, when he suffered a hamstring injury.
The winger has therefore missed each of the last 14 matches that Southampton have played, although it appears he may soon be ready to make his mark again.
He is set to return to a Saints side that currently sit second in the Championship table. They are 11 points adrift of league leaders Leicester City, and one point clear of the play-off places.
