Years in the making: An inside look at his journey to Nebraska

All the twists and turns that lead to Dylan Raiola ending up in Nebraska’s 2024 recruiting class

Nebraska walked away with a five-star signee in the December signing period for the first time in a long time, longer than 247Sports has even been around.

In that time the Huskers have signed hundreds of players, spread about all the positions on the field and from various spots around the country.

Four different head coaches have had the reins in that time with all of their staff and all of the resources the Huskers could offer both before NIL and now with it.

Huskers add 2024 walk-on tight end

Nebraska grew its walk-on class on Saturday with Minnesota tight end Danny King.

Nebraska football added to its 2024 walk-on class on Saturday evening, picking up a pledge from Bloomington Jefferson (Minn.) tight end Danny King.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound King announced his decision on social media on Saturday evening.

King has been on Nebraska’s radar for awhile, and made a gameday visit for the Huskers’ November matchup with Maryland.

As a senior, King made 34 catches for 481 yards and five touchdowns. In addition to the trip to Lincoln, King also visited Boston College, South Dakota State and Minnesota.
