Milwaukee Bucks Lose By 40 Points On the Road Against the Cleveland Cavaliers
The Milwaukee Bucks did not have Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night due to an injury against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland demolished Milwaukee and won by a final score of 135-95.
With the loss, the Bucks dropped to 28-13 on the season and the Cavaliers improved to 24-15 on the season with the win. Milwaukee never stood a chance from the opening tip-off as they were just dominated all game long.
Damian Lillard led the Milwaukee Bucks with 17 points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Bobby Portis Jr. continues to play well off the bench for Milwaukee with 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal. One of the most alarming performances for the Bucks on Wednesday night was Khris Middleton.
In the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, he needed to step up his game and he certainly did not. Middleton only scored two points, grabbed two rebounds, recorded two assists, and blocked one shot. Khris Middleton is better served as the third option to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard rather than being the second option when one of them is out due to injury.
Andre Jackson Jr. started in place of Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Milwaukee losing by 40 points on the road against Cleveland came as a surprise but there was something else in this game also came at a surprise.
