NASHVILLE— Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik exhibited coaching prowess during Saturday’s 45-17 win against the Cleveland Browns in a wild-card playoff game.
The Texans’ impressive offensive performance against the highly regarded Browns’ defense illustrates why at least four teams, including the Tennessee Titans, requested to interview him for their coaching vacancies.
Slowik displayed his play-calling prowess against the Browns by utilizing rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud’s skills as both a runner and a deft passer capable of making any throw. Stroud was 16 of 21 on pass attempts for 274 yards and three touchdowns.
