The 2024 NFL Draft is going to be loaded with top-tier wide receivers, and another one officially declared on Saturday night. LSU star Malik Nabers announced that he is declaring for the NFL draft where he figures to be one of the top players taken.
Nabers had a monster season for LSU, catching 89 passes for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns. Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is almost universally regarded as the top wide receiver in the class (assuming he declares, which has not happened yet), but Nabers will not be far behind him and could see himself as a top-10 pick. Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze also figures to be in the mix.
The Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos are all teams in the top half of the draft that figure to be in the market for a star wide receiver.
Nabers will not be the only former Tigers star to go early. His quarterback (and Heisman Trophy winner) Jayden Daniels also figures to be one of the top quarterbacks off the board along with wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.
In his three years at LSU, Nabers caught 189 passes for 3,003 yards and 21 touchdowns.
This is an especially deep draft for quarterbacks and wide receivers, and LSU is providing three of the best players at those two positions.
