Jarrett Allen Has Led the Cleveland Cavaliers to 5 Wins in 6 Games Before Milwaukee Bucks Matchup

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen has stepped up big time for this basketball team ever since Darius Garland and Evan Mobley have been out with injuries. When Cleveland defeated the Dallas Mavericks 113-110 on the road on Wednesday night, Allen scored 24 points and grabbed 23 rebounds. He also recorded six assists in that contest as well.

He has been one of the reasons why the Cleveland Cavaliers have won the last five of six games heading into Friday’s matchup at home against the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee is currently the two seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-8 record and Cleveland is currently the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 18-13 record.

When Mobley and Garland, it appeared as if the ship was going to sail for Cleveland, but Allen refused to let that ship sail. With his big game the other night, He has recorded a 20-20 game four times in his NBA career and his career high in points is 29 and his career high in rebounds is 24.

In this six-game span, Jarrett Allen has scored 10 or more points in all of those games and also has grabbed six rebounds or more in all of those games, with recording 10 or more rebounds three times.

Jarrett Allen Will Look To Have Another Big Game Against the Milwaukee Bucks

In order for the Cleveland Cavaliers to win its sixth game in the last seven contests, Jarrett Allen will need to have his fingerprints all over the floor against the Milwaukee Bucks. Brook Lopez is a very good defender and he will look to make life difficult for him. As a team, Milwaukee isn’t very good defensively but Lopez can limit the damage Allen can do in the paint and on the glass.

However, when star players are out, Jarrett Allen usually steps up so he may get his numbers anyway. It would not be a surprise to see him have another double-double. Allen this season in 26 games is averaging 13.7 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 2.7 APG, 0.9 BPG, and 0.8 SPG.
