Patrick Mahomes Injury Update: Chiefs QB On IR With Problematic Pectoral Issue

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in Week 14, but as per reports, both starting quarterbacks are on the initial injury report.

As reported, Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was listed on the injury report with a pectoral injury, but he was a full participant.

In the Week 14 Injury Report, Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen also has a lingering right shoulder injury, even after the team’s bye.

However, both QBs fully participated in practice on Wednesday. The records are 8–4 Chiefs are currently the third seed in the AFC while the 6-6 Bills rank tenth.

Sunday’s game, Chiefs vs. Bills, will be important for both teams. The Chiefs haven’t played a postseason game on the road since Mahomes became the starter, and the Bills are very much alive in the race for a wild-card berth.

As observed, Mahomes’ listed on the Kansas City injury report has marked the reigning NFL MVP’s status for week 14 in question. This also came four days before the Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills in a critical late-season contest for both teams.

Both the teams are prepared, The Chiefs are hoping to come back from a defeat in Green Bay, while Buffalo will be in further danger of missing the playoffs with a defeat at Arrowhead Stadium.

To bring more light on Mahomes injury report, he has a pectoral issue, according to the team, and the injury probably occurred during Sunday’s 27-19 loss to the Packers at Lambeau Field.

In terms of season stats, Mahomes has passed for 3,127 yards 260.6 per game and 22 touchdowns, with 10 picks. He has also connected on 67.8% of his passes (301-for-444) and has 57 carries for 331 yards.
