Will Anderson Jr. Gives His Honest Thoughts About Being In Houston

The Houston Texans got a legitimate building block on both sides of the field in the 2023 NFL Draft.

It’s hard to think of a team putting their two first-round picks to better use than the Texans going with C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. with the No. 2 and No. 3 selections, respectively.

Recently, Jim Rome talked to Anderson and asked him about his feelings about playing with the Texans and whether he always knew that he was going to be there.

Anderson stated that he couldn’t have landed at a better spot, as he wanted to play for coach DeMeco Ryans and loved the situation and the organization from the very first time he met with them.

on has treated him from day one, and how that hasn’t changed in the slightest thus far.

Anderson Jr. has been an elite contributor right away, logging 5.0 sacks, 45 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and one pass defended in the first 12 games of his promising career.

He’s one of the most athletic and physical forces in the league, and he’s only going to get better.

Also, being under DeMeco Ryans’ wing can only do wonders for him as he has all the talent in the world.

Everybody talks about C.J. Stroud and rightfully so, but the Texans struck gold not once but twice in this year’s edition of the Draft.
